Baggage transportation

All baggage including hand luggage, carried on by passengers, is to be checked in and is not to be exceeded 20 kg.

All baggage is marked with a special baggage tag and is carried within the baggage compartment of the aircraft. Maximum dimensions for each piece must not exceed 203 cm (length+ width+ height).

Free baggage rules are not applied to:

• baggage that exceeds size limitations  (baggage which exceeds 203 cm or 32 kg) 
• ski, golf and sport equipment
• video, audio and computer devices, exceeding 10 kg per seat 
• flowers, plants, fruits & vegetables, and dried plants exceeding 5 kg 
• pets (excluding guide-dogs).

All extra baggage is subject to an extra charge in accordance with baggage allowances. If baggage exceeds 32 kg, all baggage weight is charged.

NOTE: On charter flights free baggage allowances must comply with Freight Agreement.

Luggage allowance

Unchecked baggage is carried by the passenger onto the aircraft. Carry-ons may not exceed 5 kg and 45х35х15 cm.

In addition to standard carry-on baggage allowance, every passenger may carry the following items into the cabin, free of charge:

• 1 coat or blanket
• 1 lady's small hand bag
• Baby food, as necessary during flight
• 1 umbrella or 1 cane
• 1 folding chair/1 wheelchair
• 1 briefcase
• 1 small camera
• 1 bunch of flowers
• 1 laptop computer
• 1 baby carrier/cradle
• 1 suit in a holdall/garment bag

Important! All jewelry, money, mobile phones and documents are to be carried on board.

Attention! New regulations about restrictions of liquids, gels and aerosols have been approved.

These restrictions are applied to:

• water and other liquids, soups, syrups
• creams, lotions and oils
• perfumes
• sprays
• gels, including shower and hair
• aerosol/spray cans, including shaving foam, other foams and deodorants
• pastes, including toothpaste
• mixtures of solid and liquid substances
• mascara
• other similar substances

Passengers are allowed to carry onboard a small quantity of substances stated above provided that these substances are in within containers no greater than 100 ml. Items must be carried separately in zip-sealing plastic bag with a 1 litre maximum capacity. Each passenger may carry only one such bag.
In volumes, more than mentioned above permitted only:

• baby food, as necessary during flight
• medicines, as necessary during flight

Additional baggage

Additional, overweight and oversized baggage is acceptable only on condition of prior agreement with the Carrier as well as availability of free space in the baggage compartment. Full payment for such baggage is required in advance.

Attention!  Polet Airlines reserves the right to refuse any additional, overweight or oversized baggage.

Weapons, dangerous items and substances

Passengers may not check or carry aboard the following dangerous items:

• explosive substances or substances which may cause an explosion when combined
• compressed or liquefied gases
• flammable liquids or solids
• poisonous, toxic, caustic, or corrosive substances
• oxidizing substances or bleaches.

Dear Passenger, It is highly recommended that you look through the full list of goods and substances prohibited to carry on board or checked in your baggage.

Weapons, (sporting, hunting, firearms) ammunition, gas and cold arms are allowed to be checked as baggage only. Such items must be carefully packed, unloaded and licensed.

Goods which can also be used as weapons may also be allowed checked in baggage (knives, axes, ice-axes, crossbows, pneumatic arms, underwater rifles, imitation firearms, etc.)

Attention! Each country has its own rules governing the transportation of weaponry and other dangerous goods. Consequently, each case shall be reviewed and handled individually via the services and/or agencies of each border through which the goods in question are to be carried.
