‘Ruslan’ Delivered Breeze M Upper Stage Rocket to Baikonur
Polet’s aircraft AN-124-100 ‘Ruslan’ delivered Breeze M upper stage rocket for Proton M to Baikonur Cosmodrome on February 24, 2010. This was an order of Khrunichev centre, a partner of Polet Airlines for more than 10 years.
Proton M will loft Echostar14 satellite of more than 3600 kilo weight. Breeze M delivered by ‘Ruslan’ will be used as fourth stage of rocket that will place the satellite into the orbit. Proton-M with Echostar 14 is planned to be launched in March.
Polet Airlines has been the main transportation agent of Roscosmos since 1999.
