Anatoly Stepanovich Karpov

Anatoly Stepanovich Karpov was born on May 7, 1951 in Izbische village, Semiluki district of Voronezh region. He received training at Flight Dispatcher School and at Airborne Radio Operator School, and after that he studied at Voronezh State Pedagogical Institute and finished it in 1980. In 2000 he continued his education at National Economics Academy supported by Russian Federation Government.

In 1988 Anatoly Karpov established Polet Airlines and since then he has been the Director General of the company.

In 1998 he was awarded by honor plaque Air transport Excellence Award.

Since 2000 Anatoly Karpov is an active member of Russian Space Academy named after Konstantin Tsyolkovsky, since 2009 - member of International Academy of Astronautics.

Anatoly Karpov is married and has a son.
