POLET’s Medical Sanitary Station was founded in October 14, 2005. The considerable experience of civil aviation doctors proved the necessity of their presence for the goal of flight safety. Specifically, doctors of Medical Sanitary Station routinely perform inspections of the health state of our flight crews.

Today, Medical Sanitary Station represents a department wherein qualified specialists apply modern diagnosis and treatment methods. MSS has licenses to perform 29 types of activities, amongst which are:  laboratory diagnostics, massage, physiotherapy, neurology, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, therapy, functional diagnostics (ECG and bicycle ergometry), surgery, physical examination, nursing care, preliminary and periodical examination. MSS functions as a medical flight-expert Commission.

MSS staff consists of 11 doctors: head doctor, of medical flight-expert Commission chairman, therapist-expert, neurologist-expert, surgery-expert, otolaryngologist-expert, ophthalmologist, therapist of the second aircraft division, clinical laboratory diagnostics doctor, district therapist of the ground part, dentist, functional diagnostics doctor, and psychologist.    

POLET's MSS  provides fee-based services as well. However, aircompany personnel recieve service free of charge.
