Russian Polet Airlines was founded in 1988. During its 20-year history, Polet Airlines has been renowned both in the Russian and international markets for its invaluable experience in the transportation of heavy and oversized cargo. We have been certified for the operation of aviation activities in the United States and Canada and are registered with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) for flight operations worldwide. Polet Airlines has its representative offices in the USA and Germany.

The Aircompany originated in 1988 from within the cooperative founded by Mr. Anatoly S. Karpov. Using a leased AN-30 Aircraft, the company then began its first cargo transportations.

Today, the main Aircraft used by Polet Airlines is cargo aircraft AN-124-100 Ruslan - a world record holder in both operating range and cargo capacity. The Ruslan's incredible performance allows for diverse and otherwise prohibitive projects regarding the transportation of heavy and outsized cargo. The Ruslan fleet consists of 4 (four) Aircraft.

Polet Airlines previous activity also consists of space hardware and equipment transportation.  Since 1999, we have been a general carrier for the Federal Space Agency of Russia.  For 10 years, Polet Airlines aircraft have delivered more than 80 spacecraft, produced by leading space agencies from Russia to Baikonur.
